The Ranger Trio crept along the ravine, their movements silent and stealthy. The rocky terrain made it difficult to move quickly, but they knew that haste could lead to their downfall.

As they drew closer to the base, they could hear the sounds of soldiers shouting and armor clanging. Felkis signaled for them to stop and take cover behind some boulders. He peeked over the top to survey the area, looking for a way in.

There was a small window on the side of the building, too small for a human to fit through, but just the right size for a gnome. Tommot volunteered to try and slip inside, while Felkis and Dallus kept watch.

Tommot crept up to the window, using his lockpicking tools to quietly pry it open. He slipped inside and found himself in a small storage room. He searched the crates and barrels, looking for any clues or information that could help them in their mission.

Meanwhile, Felkis and Dallus kept watch outside, scanning the perimeter for any signs of trouble. They could hear footsteps approaching, and quickly ducked behind some nearby bushes.

A patrol of soldiers marched past, their swords drawn and their eyes scanning the area. Felkis and Dallus held their breath, praying that they wouldn’t be discovered.

As the soldiers moved on, Felkis signaled for Tommot to come out. The gnome emerged from the storage room, his arms full of maps and scrolls.

“We’ve got what we need,” he whispered. “Let’s get out of here.”

The Ranger Trio made their way back to the ravine, staying low and moving quickly. They knew that they had only a small window of opportunity to escape undetected.

As they reached the safety of the ravine, they let out a collective sigh of relief. They had infiltrated the base and gathered valuable information, but the hardest part of their mission was still ahead. They needed to use the intel they had gathered to take down the warlord and restore peace to the land.
