As the Ranger Trio moved deeper into the forest, they began to plan their next move. They knew that they needed more information about the warlord and his plans if they were going to stop him.

“We need to find someone who knows more about this warlord,” Tommot said. “Someone who can give us the intel we need to take him down.”

Dallus nodded in agreement. “But where do we start? We don’t even know who he is.”

Felkis had an idea. “I remember hearing about a powerful sorcerer who lives in the woods nearby,” he said. “He might have some information that could help us.”

The Ranger Trio set off towards the sorcerer’s lair, moving as quickly and quietly as possible. When they arrived, they found the sorcerer standing outside his hut, his eyes closed in meditation.

“Who are you?” he asked, opening his eyes.

“We’re the Espernol Scouting Guild,” Tommot said. “We’re trying to gather information about a warlord who wants to attack our town.”

The sorcerer nodded slowly. “I have heard of this warlord,” he said. “He is a powerful enemy, with an army of ruthless soldiers at his command.”

“We need to know more,” Dallus said. “Can you give us any information that could help us stop him?”

The sorcerer looked at them for a long moment, then nodded. “I have some intel that might be useful,” he said. “But it won’t be easy to get.”

He explained that the warlord had a secret base in the mountains, where he kept his most valuable resources and weapons. If the Ranger Trio could infiltrate the base and gather the intel they needed, they might be able to stop the warlord before it was too late.

The Ranger Trio thanked the sorcerer for his help and set off towards the mountains, their minds focused on the dangerous mission ahead. They knew that they were facing a formidable enemy, but they were determined to succeed, no matter the cost.
